About Luke Allred.

Luke Allred started his DCI career at 16. By 2016, he had marched snare with Revolution (2012), Crossmen (2013–2014), and The Cavaliers (2015–2016) — three corps, four seasons, all before finishing college.

Academically, he studied under Dr. Blake Tyson at the University of Central Arkansas and completed his bachelor’s degree under Dr. Justin Bunting at UALR. Along the way he performed with the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and the Hendrix Wind Ensemble — concert hall rigor to go with the competitive edge.

He’s been teaching private lessons in central Arkansas since 2011. Currently he serves as Battery Coordinator for Lotus Percussion — Arkansas’ only independent indoor marching percussion ensemble and an Open Class WGI member — where he oversees the full battery staff and program direction.

He has instructed drumlines at Cabot, Robinson, Parkview, and Central high schools in the Little Rock area, and coached the percussion section of the Arkansas Youth Symphony Orchestra. Luke is a licensed music educator.
